Price List for Existing Home Inspections

When you order a home inspection from Bow Tie Home Inspection our prices are based upon the square footage of the home, the type of foundation (either slab or pier and beam), and the age of the building. The inspection, including the report will take between 4 - 8 hours depending upon the size and age of the home.  If you find someone that will do it for less time and money you need to ask yourself,  what is it they are not inspecting because a good inspection will take this long and can not be done for any less money.  

In general, most slab foundation homes built after 1990 will be 10 cents per square foot.  Add an additional $50 - $100 if Pier and Beam and debending upon the size of the home. The older the home the more time it will take so it might cost a little more. Swimming Pools, Hot Tubs and outbuildings are an additional charge. The minimum charge for any home is $250.

Each inspection includes: 

·        An on-site generated Inspection report with pictures in any of the following formats,

         Hardcopy, E-mail or CD.

·        A three ring binder with useful information related to the care and upkeep of your

         new home.

·        A walk through explaining any concerns or issues you have related to your new home.

·        A Copy of the Texas Real Estate Commission Standards of Practice (SOP).

·        Pocket inserts to store and review maintenance issue related to your new home.
